Care That Fits Your Family's Needs
From full-time residential living to short stays and community programmes, each service is shaped around the people it serves.
Back to HomeOur Approach to Care
At Oakridge, every service starts the same way — with a conversation. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all care, which is why we spend time understanding each person's background, preferences, health status, and family dynamics before suggesting a path forward. Whether someone is moving in for the long term, staying for a few weeks, or dropping in for afternoon tea, the attention they receive is personal, respectful, and consistent.
Our care methodology is built on three principles: listen first, adapt continuously, and treat every person with the dignity their life experience deserves. Staff are trained not just in clinical skills but in cultural sensitivity, emotional awareness, and the art of genuine human connection.
Personalised Residential Living
A long-term care programme built around the principle that every person's needs and preferences are different. Before moving in, each prospective resident and their family participate in an in-depth conversation about daily habits, cultural practices, dietary customs, social preferences, and health requirements. This information shapes a detailed personal care guide used by all staff members. The residence offers single rooms with ensuite facilities, communal dining with menu options reflecting Singapore's diverse food culture, and a weekly schedule of activities that residents help design. Staff rotations are kept consistent to build meaningful relationships over time.

Seasonal Respite Care
A short-stay service available for booking during school holiday periods, festive seasons, and other times when family caregiving arrangements may shift. Stays range from five days to three weeks. The programme is especially helpful for families with working adults and school-age children whose routines change during holidays, creating gaps in caregiving coverage. Each guest receives attentive personal care, nutritious meals, and participation in the community's daily social calendar. Booking in advance is recommended, and returning guests benefit from having their care preferences already on file.
Flexible stays from 5 days to 3 weeks
Timed around Singapore's holiday calendar
Full access to community activities
Returning guest preference records
Tea & Talk Social Programme
A weekly drop-in social gathering designed to reduce isolation among seniors who live independently or with family. Each session centres around a shared afternoon tea with light refreshments, accompanied by a loosely structured conversation topic — life memories, current events, favourite recipes, or cultural traditions. A facilitator gently guides the discussion but allows natural conversation to flow. The programme also includes occasional guest speakers, demonstration workshops, and festive celebrations. There is no formal registration or attendance requirement — participants are welcome to come as often or as occasionally as suits them.
