"Service" refers to any care programme, residential arrangement, respite stay, social programme, or related service offered by Oakridge. "User" or "you" refers to any person who accesses our website or engages our services. "Agreement" refers to these Terms & Conditions together with any specific service agreements signed upon engagement.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or engaging any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please refrain from using our website or services. You must be at least 18 years of age to enter into this agreement. By engaging our services on behalf of a family member, you represent that you have the legal authority to do so.

3. Description of Services

Oakridge provides elderly care services in Singapore, including Personalised Residential Living, Seasonal Respite Care, and the Tea & Talk Social Programme. We reserve the right to modify our service offerings with reasonable notice to affected families.

4. User Responsibilities

When using our website, you agree to provide accurate and complete information in any forms you submit, use the website only for lawful purposes, and refrain from attempting to interfere with the website's functionality or security. When engaging our care services, family members are expected to provide accurate health and personal information about the prospective resident, to communicate changes in the resident's condition or needs promptly, and to respect visiting guidelines and community norms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website โ€” including text, images, design elements, and branding โ€” is the property of Oakridge or its licensors and is protected under Singapore's Copyright Act. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our written permission. You are granted a non-transferable right to view and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Payment Terms

All fees for our services are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Payment terms, billing cycles, and accepted methods are communicated upon service engagement and are detailed in the individual service agreement. Fees for Personalised Residential Living are billed monthly. Seasonal Respite Care is billed per stay. Tea & Talk Social Programme fees are billed monthly. We will provide at least 30 days' written notice before any changes to our fee structure take effect.

7. Service-Specific Terms

For Personalised Residential Living, a minimum notice period of 30 days is required for termination of the care arrangement. For Seasonal Respite Care, bookings are subject to availability, and cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled stay may incur a cancellation fee as outlined in the booking confirmation. The Tea & Talk Social Programme operates on a drop-in basis and may be paused or rescheduled due to public holidays or unforeseen circumstances.

8. Disclaimers

Our website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis. While we make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current, we do not warrant that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted. Oakridge provides professional elderly care services, but we do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. We work in coordination with external healthcare providers where clinical care is needed. Outcomes of our care services depend on individual circumstances and cannot be predicted for any specific person.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, Oakridge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Oakridge in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oakridge, its staff, and its affiliates from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your use of our website, or any information you provide to us that is inaccurate or misleading.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate a service agreement in accordance with the notice periods specified for each service type. Oakridge reserves the right to terminate website access or service arrangements if these terms are materially breached. Upon termination, any outstanding fees remain payable, and data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of our services shall first be addressed through informal resolution between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

13. General Provisions

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Oakridge regarding your use of our website and services, superseding any prior agreements. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right under these terms does not constitute a waiver of that right. Oakridge may assign its rights and obligations under these terms to a successor entity.
